2014: Goals

Again, I am starting a year saying THIS IS MY YEAR. And I think it's a pretty good way to start one. Now, before my two cents, a word from the wise...

I'm not making resolutions this year. Instead, I'm going to set forth a few goals to accomplish from my 101 things in 1001 Days list.

  1. Become a morning person
    ...and in doing so, go for a week without hitting snooze and establish a real world routine
  2. Make something from Bon Appetit, Cooking Light, SELF, Food Network Magazine, or some of my many other subscriptions once a month
    ...and do some damage on my 101 new recipes, perhaps even some from other countries, and then start blogging recipes again
  3. Read more, and likely finish my 30 books
    ...and Jane Austen novels
  4. See all movies nominated for Best Picture
    ...I've hit up the theaters a lot lately so I'm feeling lucky
  5. Celebrate the people around me during both times of celebration and everyday cooking someone chicken noodle soup when they're sick, send someone flowers out of the blue or spending a day with each of my family members doing what they love.
