You know, this a-z series posts are actually the hardest blog posts to start. I'd like to be more witty than "Well here are my favorite N things" but it's a little bit difficult with 26 different posts. So bare with me here.
Thus without further ado, and hopefully with your patience, my favorite N things:
one of my favorite cities, NYC
my favorite blogging accessory, my Nikon Camera
my comfy running shoes, Nike Pegagus & Free+
my favorite department store, Nordstrom
and let's not forget their counterpart, which I love just as much, if not more, Nordstrom Rack
that stuff that makes my hands and toes extra pretty, nail polish, I'm partial to Essie & Butter London.
and inspired by yesterday's post, nudes, neutrals and neons, whether its in the form of shoes, clothing or accessories. Gotta have 'em all.
P.S. I'd love a pair of the L.K. Bennett Nude Heels (pictured on the far left above), if you're in a buying mood.
So I actually began my online shopping adventure today looking at shoes. I swear. My roommate was sporting some fantastic hot blue Jeffrey Campbell heels and, well frankly, I don't like to be showed up when it comes to shoes. Just kiddding.
But the shoes did make me think about the fact that I don't have any bright solid colored shoes. So I went on a hunt but to no avail was just not that interested in anything I saw.
But then I got off track and was playing around on zappos and found myself yet again admiring the house of harlow jewelry. Have you shopped it yet? I'm in need of the necklace...debating on black or khaki leather anddd debating how I can justify spending the money for no reason. Hello half birthday coming up?
Yes, my favorite heartthrob, Mr. Darcy, came to mind first. For he truly bewitched me, body and soul.
Then, there were some of my favorite brands - Marc Jacobs, Mulberry, Michael Kors.
I'm a big fan of Moet and always keep champagne in the fridge. I'm a strong believe that there is always something to celebrate....even celebrating the fact that you have a chilled bottle of champagne in the fridge.
And one day, my apartment will be filled the delicious scents of Molton Brown soaps and lotions.
I'm awaiting the day Madewell finally opens their Rush Street store. I know they acquired the space last summer.
And among all others, I cannot deny my embarrassing love for movies based on history.
Then last but certainly not least, in fact the opposite of least, my mom.
Like ours, every relationship is a unique and special snowflake. It restores our faith in humanity, makes us believe that dreams really do come true, that happy ever after does exist.
Until it dissolves.
Then, its contents are reduced to cliche-riddled proclamations and accusations, even Maroon5 lyrics. Did you catch that one?
So, MacBookPro - We need to talk. I'm so sorry but I'm just trying to do what's right for the both of us. This is hard for me too. We've been through so much together - summers in Massachusetts, college, late night movies in bed, the last year in Chicago and so much more. But I just can't do this -
and this -
anymore. It's just gotten too hard and I think I deserve better.
Please know, a part of me will always love you. This just isn't working anymore.

I have a problem. No matter what I do, my eye make up runs. NO MATTER WHAT. So I've tried my fair share of products: primers, sprays, you name it.
Then I decided to stick to what I know works and try the Benefit solution to eye make up running:
Stay Put Primer
This stuff is FANTASTIC. You just dot it on and blend it into your eye lids and I put it underneath as well. It holds my under-eye concealer, eye liner, mascara AND eye shadow perfectly. No running at all.
